Sorry is a board game that can be played by two or more people. The game is based on an Ancient Indian game. Players must obstruct the path of other players in order to win. This game will probably require you to say sorry a lot! Whether you want to play with your family or friends, here are a few tips to get you started.
When you start playing Sorry, each player starts with four pawns of a specific color, and the goal of the game is to get all four pawns into the home circle of the color they started on. The first player in each team will start the game by placing one of his or her pawns in the Start space, with the next player starting on the opposite side of the board. During play, the pawns move clockwise around the board, from left to right.
Another game with similar rules to Sorry is Parcheesi. Both games involve a board, pawns, and an altered deck of cards. The object is to move all your pawns into the Home zone. The game comes with four sets of pawns and an instruction manual. A high draw is good for the youngest player. If you’re not sure how to play, read the instructions and learn the different card values.
The rules for Sorry are easy to learn. Each player starts with a pawn out and moves one of their pawns forward by one space. They then draw back two spaces to a total of seven spaces. The goal is to have all your pawns home before your opponent does. Each time a player makes it home, they score five points, and their opponent will earn one point for each pawn that is not home.
